The Breville BJE200XL is one of the most popular juicers amongst consumers that is available today. The combination of relatively low price and powerful juicing capabilities has seen this centrifugal juice machine make it’s way into countless homes worldwide.

Additional Features

• For convenience and to save counter space, the Breville BJE200XL has a pulp container integrated within the unit which has been designed to hold pulp for up to 1.5 litres of apple juice. A lot of people prefer this to the pulp catchers that are placed to the side of the juicing machine, that appear on other types of juicers.

• It has a safety lock mechanism to prevent any accidents taking place due to unsafe operation of the unit. It will not work without the juicer cover properly in place and the safety locking arm placed in the correct position.

• The ease of with which it cleans up is another major plus. It comes apart and is put back together again so quickly and easily and the entire clean up process takes just a few minutes to complete, allowing you to get on with more important things.

• It has a very quick and powerful motor, which makes the extraction process very efficient for most types of fruit and vegetables, and it gets the job done quickly.

• The base is heavy enough to stop the unit from vibrating and moving on the kitchen counter, without being too heavy to easily move around.

• It has a really well designed plug, which features a molded loop, making it easy to take it in and out of the plug socket.

• As you would expect from Breville, the construction and design are quality, and it seems very sturdy.

 

 Cons

• Most of the parts on the Breville BJE200XL are made of plastic instead of stainless steel, but this obviously keeps the cost down and allows Breville to sell it at such a value price.

• It is relatively tall, which isn’t a problem for most people, but some users might find it awkward.

• It has only one speed (very fast!), and some people might find that they would like the option of slower speeds as well (Which can be found on the more expensive models).

• The motor is very powerful, which while it really helps to get the job, can also cause some of the contents of the juicer to be projected out of the top of the feed chute if you are not using the food pusher it comes with, so remember to keep your hand across the top or your ceiling might be getting redecorated!
